MenNaru (メンナル, MenNaru) is the term used to describe the romantic relationship between Menma Uzumaki and Naruto Uzumaki. Particularly referring to events and characters of Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie, and not from Tenten's Infinite Tsukuyomi dream.
The Relationship Edit
Menma was introduced as Naruto's alternate counterpart when Sasuke (also known as Charasuke) called Naruto by Menma's name.
Later on, Menma is revealed to be the mysterious 'Masked Man' (仮面の男, Kamen no Otoko) and the primary antagonist of the movie (besides Tobi, who he was possessed by). Their fight concludes the movie's climax and Menma is freed from Tobi's possession and returned to his parents as the Limited Tsukuyomi comes undone.
- There is no official evidence for this couple.
Unofficial Evidence Edit
- Naruto could have seriously harmed Menma during their battle, but instead left him rather untouched.
- Naruto and Menma are the only characters from the original and Genjutsu worlds respectively, to have interacted with each other.
Among the Fans Edit
MenNaru is a relatively rare pairing, but fans have taken an interest in it due to its lack of a pairing counterpart in the official series. Their main rival pairings are MenHina (MenmaHina) and MenSaku.
