ShikaJin (Japanese シカじん ShikaJin) is the term used to refer to the romantic relationship between Inojin Yamanaka and Shikadai Nara, in which Shikadai plays the dominant role and Inojin the submissive role. The ship is also known as DaiJin (ダイじん DaiJin)

Epilogue[]
Both are introduced as members of the new Ino-Shika-Cho. The lazy Shikadai complains about training which annoys the more dutiful Inojin. Shikadai later ditches Inojin to go back home to his mother. Inojin is forced to face his own mother alone without his teammates, which frightens him.

Both Shikadai and Inojin are seen with their fathers.
Boruto: Naruto the Movie[]
Shikadai and Inojin are on Team Ino-Shika-Cho. They pass the first two exams, each helping each other out.

- In Boruto's movie, when they are playing videogames and Shikadai suddenly leaves, Inojin desperately runs after him. They're that close to each other.

Inojin and Shikadai seemed to get immediately paired by yaoi fans the minute they were introduced. Fans cite that they are teammates who continue the strong Ino-Shika-Cho bond. Fans also point out they are best friends and always in each other's company which makes them a natural pairing. In Naruto media, Shikadai is described as like his father, but also having his mother's aggressive and competitive nature. While Inojin is more calm and level-headed. Both also have strong-willed mothers.
