Past Arc: The Locus of Konoha

Naruto replaced Rock Lee In Team Guy following Lee being brutally wounded in the Chunin Exams. Tenten was team Captain and were assigned a D Rank mission. Through the mission, they interacted a lot. When Tenten was lost in thought thinking about some new weapons , Naruto talked to her about what to do next and she happily replied to him and also said that he might be true. Following Her Weapons Scroll Technique, he also stated that Tenten Was Awesome.

NaruTen isn't relatively known in the fandom, but still has a good number of followers. Although very little evidence of romantic interest is shown between the two characters, a lot of fans see them compatible as they appear attractive together. Another reason could be due to both characters being known for being hot-headed and short-tempered. Also, they had been a really friendly pair together.
